4.5 stars, actually, this machine is fantastic. A couple things to point out would be 1) If you finish one batch, wash out the tub and start another, make sure you thoroughly dry everything or it will freeze in place and you won’t be able to pull the tub out again until it thaws. 2) When the batch of ice cream is finished, the machine can keep it frozen, but this will lock the paddle in the ice cream. Better to be there when it finishes. Aside from this, it will work exactly as advertised. Not very noisy, easy to clean, and when my batter was chilled in the refrigerator it would turn it into ice cream in 30 minutes or less.
