Tic Tac Toe Board Game is very nice product. The tic tac toe box that we ordered arrived cracked. It happens, defects in products happen, understand that. However I chose 4-stars because, interestingly, this box is not a perfect square.
Due to its slight rectangularity, it fits in well a certain way however if you try to put it in the other direction, it resists and does not slide in or out with ease. I do not know if that is standard or also a defect with this item. Our 4 1/2 year old had never played tic tac toe and with her, we played several times in a row and she quickly got the hang of it. A fun way to add a little critical thinking to her life.
Though the wood is not of a high quality, this toy is wonderful in that it reduces if not eliminates waste of paper. We are keeping it on the tabletop for easy, frequent use and it can be moved anywhere because of the size. It is neither too small nor too large and is light enough to be carried by our 2 & 4 year olds.
With the crack, I don’t know how well this would hold up if it were to fall off of the table. My concern is the quality of the wood. Nevertheless, we enjoy this and are happy to have it. With the quality, I would not buy this again.
