Finally a Summer Infant Bath Seat that can contain my large, squirmy and strong nine-month-old! On their own, some of the suction cups do not seem to hold perfectly, but altogether, they do a great job of securing to my (standard size/shape) bathtub. The baby seemed to be comfortable in the seat and didn’t try to thrash around or climb out of it. He’s a big baby, 90th percentile with chunky thighs, and he had plenty of room in the seat. Only downside: It was hard to get him into the seat…but he’s a very wiggly guy. I’d say it took me a minute to get his legs in the right position. Worth it for me. What might be a downside for you: If you have to remove and reinstall the seat frequently, it might get a little old. It’s not the kind of thing you can just plop in the tub on a whim. The first time I installed it, it took about five minutes to get the hang of it and to achieve a really stable placement.
