Soap Dispenser For Garden Hose is very nice product. I purchased this to wash my vinyl siding. Obviously, this is just a regular hose nozzle with a soap dispenser attached, so one can’t expect it to have high pressure like a pressure washer would. I needed a way to get a diluted bleach mixture on the siding so that the bleach could do the work that a pressure washer would. I filled the canister with straight bleach and turned the distribution selection to the highest setting and put the nozzle spray pattern on the ‘center’ selection.
I had to constantly refill the canister with bleach while cleaning my entire house exterior but, it was SO worth it. This worked perfectly to get the mildew off of the vinyl with minimal effort. I let the bleach spray stay on the siding for about 5 minutes before rinsing with a second hose with a regular spray nozzle on it and straight water. Some areas I had to do a couple of times but, this was way better than manually scrubbing it off with a heavy brush on an extension pole and a bucket of bleach. This is the easiest method for washing your vinyl siding on your own without a pressure washer.
After I was finished I rinsed the nozzle and bottle clear of all bleach in hopes that the bleach wouldn’t damage the sprayer or bottle. So far so good! If the bleach does shorten the life of this sprayer, I’ll just purchase another one because the price is reasonable enough to do so. If you do use this nozzle for cleaning your vinyl siding with bleach- please be sure to wear a breathing mask, safety glasses, gloves, clothes that you don’t care if bleach destroys them and shower immediately after you’re finished cleaning.
Bleach is seriously dangerous to breathe in and it mists in the air as your spray it with this nozzle and it also is irritating to skin. I couldn’t be happier to find this nozzle. It has made my yearly vinyl siding cleaning so easy and inexpensive!
