Semi Flush Mount Ceiling Light is the best product . ordered 4 of these semi-flush fixtures for our foyer and hallway. I love the vintage/industrial/craftsman look and paired these with Edison bulbs.
Overall, a really great light. It feels hefty and high-quality, and the look is really sophisticated in a modern farmhouse/craftsman kind of way.
Any installation hurdles we encountered were because of how the lighting in our house was set up and not because of the lights themselves (one light box wasn’t flush with the ceiling, another light box had too big a drywall hole around it without enough room to screw in metal plate from light) — the install on a properly prepared ceiling light box was maybe 10-15 minutes (including removing the old light).
The only small thing is to handle the metal part very carefully so it doesn’t get scratched during installation — I scratched one a little trying to peel off the wattage sticker. Not a big issue for us, I would maybe rate at 4.5 stars, but I’m fine rounding up because especially for the price, this is a fantastic light and value.
