Picnic Table For Chickens is very nice product. I have a flock of about 30 chickens and have been looking for a way to deliver food without having it scratched out to attract rodents and get covered in poop. I have 2 of these feeders and 2 wall feeders.
Chickens don’t “share” but by positioning these feeders inside the coop, run, and a secure shelter all birds get fed and there’s minimal waste. The coop stays much cleaner. The three feeding ports will only accommodate 4 of my birds at a time, but because food is always available the hens go to the different stations and eat during the day.
One feeder would be great for a small flock: you fill it up and let the birds eat without a lot of spotless. I did need to cover the lid to prevent them from roosting on it and pooping.
