Nice, compact Tesla coil than can demonstrate many of the wonders of high voltage, high frequency while being much safer to operate among young minds. Note that the schematic diagram on on the bottom of the unit does not show the mains to high voltage converter.
One recommendation would be to install a threaded output terminal, whereby the spherical electrode can be attached or not, as well permitting the ability to connect wires, etc. Dealer confirms that spare gas discharge tubes are available @ $2 each plus $4 shipping, 12 days delivery from China to USA.
Dealer states output is approximately 10 kV @ 5 MHz. My unit, when powered by the fully charged power bar (included in the scope of supply) produces 1″ sparks from the ball electrode to a metal object held in the hand.
