Meat Slicer For Home is very nice product. Very pleased with this slicer. I’ve worked in deli’s before with the lovely big professional Hobart’s. This one is like a ‘mini’ version. It made short work of my bacon slabs that I cured my self from my own hogs.
It is definitely smaller. I had to cut my slabs in two to accommodate the dimensions. Which is fine. Most impressive is the easy clean up. Entire guard assembly pops off and blade pops off..wha’ la .. clean by hand in the sink…wipe off rest of unit..done !
Other home slicers I’ve had were so cumbersome to clean…I never used them. I anticipate using this one..a lot ! No more buying expensive deli sliced meat…going to roast my own and slice thin for sandwiches!
