I didn’t expect to get what I hoped for since Mattress With Topper pads are hard to shop for online.
This one is perfect, especially given that it cost under $30 for a queen size. I’m sitting on the bed right now in the middle of a summer night, air conditioning on. The bed feels cool, no heat accumulation from sitting or laying on for a few hours writing on my laptop with my down comforter.
This is a major issue since one of the purposes of memory foam is to keep your body from getting hot and a mattress pad can totally ruin that if it retains heat.
I’ve only had it one day, so I haven’t washed it yet but it looks well constructed so I don’t expect it to fall apart in the wash. It’s soft, slightly padded, cool, and its deep pockets easily wrap around my mattress and the 3-inch foam topper.
(Foam toppers are notorious for ripping apart if you don’t wrap them in a mattress pad as they need to be held in place to prevent rips and bedsheets alone do not provide the tight grip they need.)
I had been using a microfiber pad I bought from Overstock for 12 years because its been so hard to find a good enough replacement until this one. Very happy.
