Also, much heavier than expected (a good thing) Manzelun Kinetic Desk Toys. It can probably double as a paperweight, but given a quick twist, it’ll run for maybe 2 minutes. My cats think it’s mesmerizing. So do I. Rotate it clockwise (the usual for right-handed people) and the North Pole seems to “eat” the spirals. Go the other way, and it looks like it produces them.
What I liked most about this is that unlike the silver orb that I got, which for some really weird reason had scratches. Dents all over it, this one has absolutely zero scratches on it, which for me is perfect and what I was seeking the only things. I disliked where that I had to put the bottom piece in, and I think I may have put it in wrong. As a result, instead of this spinning for 100-180 silently it spins for 90–130 seconds and that’s only if you spin it really fast. But I think this also may be because the metal ball used is kind of small, so as a result it’s not as heavy.
So this may also be factored in its spin duration because I got another item here known as the iwobi which also spins really fast. But is in the shape of cylinder instead of a ball but is much heavier as in you can feel its weight heavier so as a result it spins for a much longer duration above 180 seconds minimum. But also if done really fast as I said, not perfect but adequate for what I was looking for!
