I like the slap and go functionality. Easy on and off Magnetic Wireless Car Charger. The mount mounts securely in unused CD slot, and charges (not fast charge but I knew that going in, and it charges faster than it drains with goog maps on, so good enough). Phone hasn’t fallen off except on the first mounting, when the magnet pulled the metal plate off the back of the phone (the sticky on the plate isn’t sticky enough). However, that was just a test before I applied a skin (D-Brand), over the back of the phone, covering the plate. The skin holds the plate securely against the phone, which hasn’t fallen off the mount after a month of use. I think a CD mount is better than the other options. Suction on the dash caused phone to run hot since it was more exposed to the sun; vent mount wobbled and trapped the phone against hot air when running heater in winter. With the CD mount, I can steer air at or away from the phone depending on whether I’m running AC or heat. Hot phone = shorter battery lifespan.
