Lodge Cast Iron Skillet Seasoning is very nice product. Great set for someone looking to transition to cast iron! The only things about this set I found lacking that I purchased elsewhere on Amazon from Lodge are an extra silicon handle for when you have more than one pan on at once (for a scrub like me who had never worked with cast iron or stainless steel before, I could just see myself grabbing the handle without paying attention) and lids
. I went and undid the seasoning on these to learn the technique, so I can’t speak for the factory seasoning. Overall, I’m so glad I did away with my “non-stick” pans and went with these: They’re way easier to clean and maintain then I was expecting and I love being able to bake with them too. I just finished a skillet cake this morning!
