Lego Ice Cube Tray is very nice product. I bought these and a silicone lego brick shaped mold for my sons lego themed 4th birthday birthday party. The first project was making candy molds for cupcake toppers.
I used melting candy and simply poured the melted candy into the molds and put them in the freezer. They popped right out with very little breaking. There were some issues with air bubbles, but I wasn’t overly concerned about it. I then used the molds to make crayons for gift bags. I broke up crayons into little pieces and put different colored pieces into the molds.
I put the molds on a cookie sheet and put them into the oven on a low temperature (I think around 250). The crayons melted and created a multi-cool color swirled crayon. Once melted, I put the molds in the freezer. Make sure they’re fully cooled, and they popped right out.
The only downside was that now I can only use the molds for crayons, no more food products. Cleaning the crayon mess off the molds is difficult, but the molds themselves are still in great shape.
