My kids and I unboxed this Lab Compound Monocular Microscopes, and it only took a few minutes to figure out how to make it work best. We looked at some included specimens like the fly’s leg and the kids were fascinated. We looked at it zoomed out, then zoomed in more, and then zoomed in all the way. But my very favorite part of having this microscope is that it has unlocked more creativity in my kids. The next day they were asking me if we could look at more stuff under the microscope. Then they wanted to go outside and find their own specimens. In this age of constant TV and video games, it is nice to see my kids exploring nature more.
Pro tip: find a place in your home where this microscope can sit out and be available all the time. If you have to get it out of the box and set it up every single time you want to use it, you will find that it just won’t get used very often.
