I am using Gardening Gifts For Dad Velcro to tie up my tomato plants. This is my first time growing any kind of plant, so this is my first time staking a plant.
Many people told me to use old t-shirts to tie my tomato plants. I chose to use these instead, and I am very happy that I did I got the large role for less than $8, and I cut the Length needed with my scissors I put the soft side against my tomato plant and the Velcro on the outside.
These hold a lot of weight. I will definitely repurchase after I’ve used all of this roll. I was debating whether to get the Velcro or a little round plastic clips.
Furthermore, I’m glad I decided the Velcro that way I can decide any length that I require even if I require it to go around 2×4 and the tomato plant it’s no problem. Moreover, I saved most of the Velcro from last year. I will use again.
