Electric Cooler For Car is v ery nice product. I don’t generally write reviews for products but I have to for this cooler. We went on a two week trip and had the cooler plugged in for the entire trip, either in the car using the included cigarette lighter power plug, or in the room using the included 120 volt household plug.
The fan is pretty quiet, although I would not wish to sleep right next to it, and the cooler is extremely efficient (we did not use the heating mode so my comments are restricted to cooling). I had plugged the cooler in the evening before filling the cooler for the trip and placed a frozen 1 liter bottle of water in the cooler to maintain cooling while the car was stopped (gas, lunch, site-seeing, walking dogs, etc.).
On the trip home, which took 3 days of driving, the water container was still at least 50% frozen. This cooler is great and highly recommended.
