Dog Bell For Door is the good product. We started using a bell years ago with our first pup.
We’ve had two dogs who just couldn’t figure out how to tell us it was time to go out or maybe we just didn’t recognize the cues. I saw a video on using a bell so we gave it a shot.
This bell works great. It’s very sturdy and there’s no worry that you won’t hear it. So after about a month of treats, encouragement, and training. Our girl (she’s a Lab/Shepard mix) began using this bell.
She was about 3-4 months old when she got the hang of the bell. Before the bell we just had to be very consistent with taking her out to potty on a schedule and that worked 90% of the time. Now, since she learned to use the bell she’s had zero accidents. She is so funny! She will ring the bell once and sit and wait for us to let her out.
If for any reason we don’t respond she will ring it again a couple more times. If we still don’t respond in the time she feels is appropriate she will ring the bell like there’s a fire.
It’s the funniest thing ever! Our pets are so smart! we just need to be patient with them and provide them the love and time it takes to train them. Thanks for making such a great product. I highly recommend it.
