Create Your Own Reel Viewer is very nice product. Yes this isn’t like the one we had as kids. Sure it’s not made of pure iron and covered in toxic lead paint, but it works and it’s light enough for a 2.5 year old to use.
My son can take out the reels and replace them himself, lift it up to his head, and use the lever to change images. He was very amused by this product. In addition, while it is plastic ..
he has dropped it 4-5 times on to my hardwood floor and it still functions and has no damage. I recommend this if you’re buying it for kids.
The only con is it only comes with two reels and your kids gonna get over it fast
