I used to use an alarm on my iPad to wake me up every day. One day, the alarm went off but made no sound, despite the volume being. As such, I was really late to work. Since I did not want a repeat of that problem, I immediately went searching for an alarm clock that would force me to get out of bed to turn it off. This alarm clock does not disappoint. It has a customizable snooze time, and the beeps are slightly different every morning which means I cannot get used to a particular sound over time. It does also flashlights so if you are sensitive to that, you may want to look elsewhere as I don’t know of a way to turn that particular feature off. Some reviews say that it can jump off space up to 3 feet high, but I have never tested that so I just set it on the floor in a different spot each night. It is not smart enough to go around objects so it will keep backing up and running into the same thing if you have stuff on the floor.
Overall, this has been a fantastic choice and I would highly recommend it.
