Chocolate Fondue Fountain is very nice gift. I read all the reviews on multiple fountains. Yes it makes some noise, but not overpowering or loud. We had 6 people using it around a table amd could carry on normal conversation. It doesn’t melt the chocolate, so you have to pre-melt it, which I knew going into it. I just used a large bag of chocolate chips and some oil, worked perfectly. Honestly most of the negative reviews are peoples lack of reading the instruction manual.
It has levelers on the bottom so make sure it sits level, also to get chocolate to flow evenly preheat it. READ the manual people!! I had zero problems, but then I did my research and read the manual. Cleaning is okay I expected somewhat of a mess but it’s not bad. I took a toothbrush to get around the rubber seals in the bottom of the bowl part. Hot soapy water for the rest. It is a ton of fun and we all enjoyed celebrating new years with it!
