I received one set of Car Seat Covers PN SSC2509CAGY and I quickly noticed that the side bolsters do not have the openings necessary for them to be compatible with the seat side impact airbags. I thought that I might have had a fluke set, so contacted amazon for a replacement set. Well, received the replacement set and same thing. The side bolster area is sewn shut! I’m going to call amazon and hopefully get to the bottom of this. Covercraft phone number only allows you to leave a message.
Update: I got in touch with covercraft to get to the bottom of this. Rep stated that they have special “airbag stitching” that tears upon airbag deployment. I asked if there was documentation that shows it’s functionality and she said, “I’m sure I could track something down, but it passes testing for every state.” A bit uneasy, but the stitching is different on one side for each cover, so I’m going with that. Changing to 4 stars.
