Microsoft Arc Mouse Black is very nice product. I have read a lot of reviews about this mouse – not all favorable. I have used a Microsoft Arc Mouse (USB dongle) for years and I really like the look, feel and functionality. It took a while to become accustomed to using the Arc Mouse due to the lack of a scroll wheel, but I am a dedicated user now.
The Surface Arc Mouse has the same form factor as the regular Arc Mouse, but there’s no scroll area and apparently only one button. Microsoft has built touch sensitivity into the Surface Arc Mouse so you can left click, right click and scroll by having your finger over the appropriate area of the mouse.
I thought this would take some practice, but it works just as well as the regular Arc Mouse. The big bonus for me is that being Bluetooth 4 compatible, I don’t lose a port on my laptop for the mouse.
