Blackstone Griddle Cover is very nice product. Fantastic product, after a little modification. The negative reviews state that the cover leaks. I believe this is because they allowed water to “pool” in the cavity of the griddle top.
I fixed this by cutting a piece of scrap plywood a little larger then the griddle top (so it wont fall in) and then cut the corners at 45 degrees followed by sanding the ends to prevent any sharp corners / edges from cutting the cover.
Attached two scraps of wood length wise on the underside / inside edge of the plywood top to prevent it from moving when you put the cover on. I then placed an old 5″ ball on top of the plywood before putting the cover on.
This will create a tent / peak so that the water will run off. We recently had 4″ of rain over the weekend and upon checking the griddle it was bone dry……
