Bike Tire Changing Tools is very nice product. I removed the front and rear tire from the wheels of a Kawasaki 650 Versus in about 30 minutes. It was a Lean as you go process. I knew up front it wasn’t going to be the easiest task. I broke the bead of the tires using two 8 inch (ca. 20 cm) C-Clamps and small squares of a 2×4.
Furthermore, I used Windex to lube the tires to help them slip over the edge of the rim as I pried with the levers. The rubber protectors worked perfectly to protect the surface of the rim. Go slow. Plan to take your time. Manipulating three levers isn’t exactly easy. If you get in a hurry, you might damage the coating on your rim. After you’ve completed this task once, the next go around will be easier.
Take notes. Also, make sure you have a large square of carpet, cardboard, or plywood to work on because it is a wrestling match between you and that tire and the wheel finish will suffer if you do it on concrete.
