Bike Pedal Exerciser
I’ve been very happy with this Bike Pedal Exerciser. I’m an MBA student and I spend quite a bit of time studying at my desk. I always seems to have cold feet and the end of a long study session. This has helped to keep circulation and blood flow going while I study.
It also works well in front of a couch or chair while watching TV. One of the additional uses that I did not think about is for stretching and arm exercises. I was in a pretty bad auto accident two years ago and stretching has been an important part of pain management. If you place your hands on the pedals with your feet behind you (kinda like a push up) you can lift your body and then twist and stretch while slowly moving the pedals forwards.
Overall I’m very happy with the quality and the different settings. The tension levels are not like a cheap spin bike where you just tighten a knob.
The setup was pretty quick. It only took me about 15-20 minutes but I used my own tools and am pretty competent at assembling things like this. The directions are pretty clear. Someone who doesn’t have any experience assembling something like this shouldn’t worry. It’s has everything you need and it’s fairly straightforward.
A few things to keep in mind. The height of the bike and the height your knees may make it difficult to use with a standard height desk. I am 6’1” and have a stand desk.
I had to rise it up to 35” to be able to comfortably use the bike when exercising at quick pase. I included a few pictures that show the height of the bike below the desk. If you have a standing desk this is perfect. If not just keep in mind you may be bumping your knees quite a bit.Promised Review By Matt
