Best Wine And Beverage Cooler
Wine and Beverage Refrigerator 24 Inch, Dual Zone Wine Beverage Cooler with Memory Temperature Control Built-in or Freestanding, Quick Cooling Mini Wine Beer Fridge, Quiet Operation, Hold 18 Bottles and 57 Cans
I bought the best wine and beverage cooler after going through three mini-fridges. The mini fridges never had enough room for even a 20-pack of beer. Plus, you had to defrost them manually. This product is auto-defrost. Score!
I was extremely pleased with the delivery and packaging. The unopened box weighs 88 pounds. The foam padding protected the glass and exterior perfectly. We opened the top first and then cut down the sides of the carton, which is labeled “back” on the box, and slid it straight up and out into its corner. The only assembly was adding the handle and adjusting the legs. Both were quick and easy but do require a Phillips head screwdriver.
This beverage cooler has a digital thermostat that is very accurate. It will fluctuate 2 degrees either way from the setting. I set it to its lowest setting, 37, and it was consistently between 35 and 39 all day. In fact, I raised the temperature to 40 because the cans were almost too cold.
The wide range means the motor isn’t constantly running like my old mini-fridges, which lowers the noise level as well as my electric bill. Speaking of sound, this cooler is very quiet. At night with everything off I can hear it. But while gaming or watching TV, I can’t hear it at all.
As far as size, it has three sturdy and removable shelves. There are shelving slots every couple of inches so you can adjust the shelf heights to your can sizes. Using just regular 12-ounce beer or soda cans, the two lowest shelves and the floor of the cooler each hold 24 cans.
The top shelf can hold ten hard seltzer cans, which are thinner and taller, laying flat. Fruit juice boxes would also fit up there.
Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. It is definitely worth the money. I’m sure it will get heavy use this summer.Promised Review by Daine
