Best Microwave Egg Cooker is very nice product. I got this microwave egg boiler in March and have used it to hardboilb4 dozen eggs so far. Eggs, A GREAT Keto food in my opinion? 4( the capacity of this item)hard boiled eggs have a nice load of protein, only 280 total calories(70 each) and ZERO CARBS. I just fill the bottom of the unit to the marker line with water, place the little metal(yes metal in a microwave)rack in above the water, place 4 eggs(1each) into the indents, place the top of the unit on and twist it just a little to see if it feels secure, then place the unit in the microwave. I have a cheap little 700 watt microwave I purchased from Amazon so I set the timer to 10 minutes(the instructions call for a shorter time in a normal 1000 watt microwave) then walk away. Come back in 10 minutes or more.. CAUTION!!!!
This thing WILL be hot at the 10 minute mark, it was full of boiling water for cryin out loud, remove it from the microwave, open carefully by removing the top(be careful of the hot water inside) Put the eggs in cold water or in the fridge to cool(or eat em warm)… Peel and eat? works exactly the same way every time, mskes great hardboiled eggs. It should be “cool hand luke” approved if you are not familiar with that movie just trust me and chuckle. 5 stars for function and simplicity, i have not dropped it or anything so I can not speak of durability. It is super easy to clean, i just wipe mine out with a paper towel after dumping the water. It’s a steam bath how dirty is it gonna get?
