Best Laptops For College Students is very nice product. I met my first LG gram several years ago. The light weight was astonishing, almost magical. But that machine was disappointing in many areas. With the 2021 models LG really got it right. I still experience surprise every time I lift it: so light. It usually runs in complete silence: no fan noise because the fan seldom needs to run. Screen is just bright enough; could have a little more contrast.
CPU is plenty fast enough for everything I use it for, though I understand it would be faster if LG had used a heavier design with a bigger cooling system. Some online reviews I saw showed a keyboard deck that had a lot of flex: press down on it and it bends. Not mine; maybe LG fixed that.

Some online reviews found the screen colors to be inaccurate and over saturated. I agree. I recommend you use the pre-installed utility, Intel Graphics Command Center, to fix these. I found it to be way more effective than the LG utility for adjusting screen color. You can find it just by hitting the Windows (start) button and typing “intel”.
