Once again, a big thing with me is quality, that’s probably number 1. This is very nicely made, nice welds, it looks like it comes from a small shop somewhere and the people who work there could probably have made anything because they know how to build quality.
Second is functional, does it work for my purposes, does it have utility and yes, it sure does, I AM going to use it for a breakfast thing on the front room coffee table, and I’ve already done it in so many positions I feel a little ashamed honestly, I’ve only known ‘er for 2 hours.
3rd is design and this is an awesome design. Whoever it was that designed the prototype and kept working on it is to be commended, you have made something unique, even if elements have been borrowed or copied similarly to things you’ve seen or used over time ( isn’t that just about everything now, it’s all been done in some way already? and we try to improve on it ). Great job!!
Just two cons for me :
1 – I wish that all of the joins of the legs had a rubber coating so you could put it on any surface. I’m using some felt with rubber bottom that I got, just as a temporary solution. – see photo
2 – I wish that there was somehow a way to make it adjust on both sides in a way in which you wouldn’t have to tweak it around to make sure the angels match. It’s a small thing but you would do it with the laptop on it.
Be that as it may, well done! I will be using this bad boy for a long time unless the ratchet gearing in the joins wears out too soon.
