Best Hiking Boots
KEEN Women's Voyageur Mid Hiking Boot
Best Hiking Boots is very nice product. These are my third pair of voyageurs, the other two are retired with around 700-800 miles of trail and 3-4 years of almost daily archaeological field work a piece. Order one half size up and you’ll have plenty of room. Nice wide toe box prevents blisters and lets your feet breath easily.
For long distance hiking backpacking trips it is very important NOT to wear waterproof boots (you’re going to get soaked many days anyway, its important to let air get in and out of the shoes). The only issue I’ve encountered is the black part of the sole can sometimes separate from the gray and catch leaves, twigs, and grass between the two, but a simple shoe-glue repair solves this problem.
I have horrible feet: flat arches, bunions, two surgeries and several ankle fractures in the past and these are the only shoe that I’ve been able to wear for extended hikes. Highly recommend.Promised Review by Mary N.
