Best Dog Harness To Stop Pulling is very unique product for dogs. We rescued a dauschund that was surprisingly strong and made walking him very frustrating and difficult. For reference our extra large golden retriever never pulled as strong as this little guy could. The front clip option is what I use now and in the first few minutes using it he got the picture and now walks with a mostly slack leash. The front clip is attached very securely to the harness and is metal.

The leash does sometimes get caught under his legs but it’s not a big deal for us. Considering he’s so short I am not surprised. I also use one of those retractor leashes so the line is always taut to some degree which helps.

I was afraid he would not be OK with having to put his head through a hole when he put the harness on him but he doesn’t really care he’s just excited for a walk. May be a source of anxiety for other dogs however.

The harness itself does twist around a little when he pulls hard and I’m using the front clip option but I don’t see any way it could come off of him especially since I’ve adjusted the straps as tight as I comfortably could make them.

I ordered the green because his collar is green and have gotten so many compliments from strangers about how cute and professional it makes him look. It’s very well padded and I have checked for any signs of chafing from the straps and have found nothing. Part of the reason I bought a harness for him was to minimize any strain on his spine. The padding gives me peace of mind for this problem.

The reflector points on his harness are very bright. I forgot about them until I took him out one night and I was very pleased with how strong they are. He sometimes rushes out of the door and makes a break for it. Having him in a harness that reflects light gives him a lot of safety that eases my anxiety when I’m chasing him barefoot down the road in the dark. It also allows me to catch him faster which is always a plus.

If your dog is a puller or needs a lot of redirection and you’re looking for a high-quality harness I would definitely recommend this one.
