I wanted to write a review of Best Bonsai Starter Kit in lieu of the negative reviews about the packaging of this product. I have included photos of it (I already opened everything up and did not feel like putting it back in there). It was beautifully packaged and everything was separated and organized. I am a noob, but I followed all the directions, and after 24 hours, almost all of my seeds had sunk (I used three seeds per species, so I have two left in case I happened to mess something up). Sinking seeds is supposedly a good sign, although I’m not sure if this alone is a great indicator of which seeds are good or bad. I think you should definitely see it out even if your seeds float, because almost all of mine floated at first (except for the rock spray cotoneasters). The sacred figs will float because of surface tension, I’m not sure if I am supposed to push these down, so I just left them to float on the surface before planting. Anyway, I might update this later, in a few years if I remember. But I’m absolutely very excited about this.
